The island is the meeting point of two giants: the desert and the ocean. Here white fine sand dunes sink into the emerald green water of the Atlantic Ocean. The main town of Boa Vista is Sal Rei, a graticule of alleys, colonial stained houses, a little harbour every morning get lively at the fish market when boats come back. |
